Many properties built in America before 2005 will have to be retrofitted with energy saving technology due to several factors:

Many states require carbon emission cuts of between 20 and 50% by 2030 and more efficient homes will sell at a premium causing depreciation of inefficient properties.
The U.S. has been at the forefront of global actions on climate change, and as a nation, we have begun the transition towards a lower carbon economy.
Companies facilitating low carbon infrastructure will experience accelerated growth.

Myth: Net Zero is a theory

Fact: Net Zero properties exist thought out the world

Myth: Reaching Net Zero is a huge expense

Fact: If financed, achieving Net Zero is an investment with a 10 to 15% return on investment over the life of the loan

Myth: Renewable energy expenses have long payback periods

Fact: Most renewable energy expenses have an ultimate 100% return on investment within 2 to 8 years

Myth: It’s not possible to have zero utility and gasoline expenses

Fact: It is possible, and there are many examples of Net Zero Homes, including the cost to change Electric Vehicles

Myth: Most mechanical systems can be repaired and be made more efficient

Fact: The law of thermodynamics dictates that all mechanical systems will breakdown and eventually need to be replaced

So the questions you want to ask yourself are:

  1. Do you want to pay your lender for 2 to 8 years while you enjoy lower or no utility expenses, or do you want to pay your utility company for the life of your property?
  2. Do you want to be energy independent, have no utility expenses, improve and increase the value of your property, and do something good for the environment?

In 2015, the climate change debate is where the War of Currents was in 1893. With several days of the summit already underway, the climate convention in Paris, COP 21, is shaping up to be the most significant since Kyoto in 1997. It may well do for clean-energy technologies what the Chicago World’s Fair did for electricity. It might be an inflection point.

According to Bill Gates, who has pledged billions of dollars to help fight climate change, “Those who study energy patterns say we are in a gradual transition from oil and coal to natural gas, a fuel that emits far less carbon but still contributes to global warming.” Gates thinks that we simply cannot accept this outcome, and that our best chance to vault over natural gas to a globally applicable, carbon-free source of energy is to drive innovation “at an unnaturally high pace.”

We at Carbon Recall are driving innovation at a very rapid pace, and we are vaulting directly to net zero – the most effective path towards powering up all residential and commercial properties with clean, renewable energy.

The decline in energy storage costs is accelerating the transition by millions of people and communities to sustainable energy lifestyles. However, generating clean, renewable energy is only part of the solution. See how the Rocky Mountain Institute’s cross-sector community energy transformation program is improving neighborhoods.

These programs underscore the value and opportunities for Carbon Recall affiliates who are filling the huge void for providing fully integrated solutions designed to dramatically maximize energy use for millions of inefficient properties in America. This year the U.S. Green Building Council estimated that 40-48 percent of new, nonresidential construction will be green, equating to a $120-145 billion opportunity.

62 percent of firms building new, single-family homes report that they are doing more than 15 percent of their projects green. By 2018, that percentage increases to 84 percent.

Historical averages have pegged the economic impact of investments in the U.S. residential market at roughly 5 percent of GDP, while other economic activity surrounding housing services as a whole have held historical averages fluctuating between 12 percent to 13 percent of GDP. This means that the current surge in green building, coupled with investment in the residential market, will have an outsized impact on an estimated 17 percent to 18 percent of the domestic economy over the next decade.

The timing is perfect for you to take a closer look at Carbon Recall.

The chief executives of ExxonMobil Corp. and Royal Dutch Shell PLC have demonstrated contrasting visions for cutting fossil-fuel emissions in a reflection of a divide between American and European oil companies, Sarah Kent and Amy Harder report in the Wall Street Journal. Exxon’s Rex Tillerson said innovation, free markets and competition were the best tools for reducing emissions, but Ben van Beurden of Shell said governments need to play a role.

Diesel-powered cars have taken a beating lately with the Volkswagen AG emissions-testing scandal, but Toyota Motor Corp. is taking it one step further saying sales of diesel and gasoline cars, which currently account for about 85% of Toyota global vehicle sales, will be near zero by 2050.

The scandal is forcing Volkswagen to accelerate plans to develop battery-driven electric vehicles. Elsewhere Sweden’s Volvo Car Corp. will build an all-electric car for sale by 2019.

Growing Electric Vehicle sales are a leading indicator for the terrific sales increases Carbon Recall Affiliates will continue to experience. Every time a consumer purchases an electric vehicle, they open the door to a host of Carbon Recall clean renewable energy services.
